"This was an excellent property for our family gathering. The house has great views of the lake and a large back yard with a fire pit. The house has an open design and this allowed all of our guests to visit while some cooked. There are 4 bedrooms in the main house and a bunk house, so we had many good options for sleeping. The manager responded quickly to all of our questions and comments making us feel like we were a top priority. We had no problems with the house. The neighborhood was...

"We enjoyed our visit. Home is well equipped and was clean. Manager was very receptive. Has plenty of cooking equipment. Has a grill, but we didn't use it. The only issue, and it's not the owner's fault, but we brought our dogs, and the dogs across the road were running loose almost the whole time, so we had to keep our dogs on the deck whenever we were outside. Lots of loose dogs in the area made it difficult to walk the dogs as well. That said, I would recommend the property, just keep an eye...

"We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner."

"We enjoyed our stay. Loved the size of the kitchen but the dishwasher didn’t seem to work very well. The Keurig didn’t work but thankfully we brought our own. The backyard was enjoyable. We hung out by the fire pit a lot. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough since the temps were in the 40’s so we didn’t use it unfortunately. "Celebrated my husband's 90th birthday with family and a friend. Everyone enjoyed the movie room with the very comfortable recliners and then they moved to the ping pong table and pool table. I called and the hot tub was remotely turned on and used for a few minutes by grandchildren (30-40 year olds) We watched football on one of the TV's (there are TVs everywhere). Excellent house for December weather and great for fun on lake."
