The view from the Onsen on the roof was excellent! The breakfast was great. The toilet was dirty, and the shower area smelled fishy. The room needed at least one chair.

Worst experience ever
Was sooo hard to find to begin with, lots of stairs, but no one will help you at the entrance with your luggage. The room is very small, we had the traditional room for 3 people, won’t be able to open the wardrobe after we put our sleeping mats down. Toilet no fan, no windows, so imagine the smell after someone... breakfast starts at 7am, finishes at 7:45am, check out at 10 am, very inconvenient .

Hotel was advertised to have self parking, however there is not enough stalls for all occupants. When we arrived, we asked to self park and the front desk told us that no parking was available and we could park at the beach parking. Beach parking was an additional 2700 yen/day and about a 15 min walk away. Hotel also serves breakfast, but it requires a reservation the night before. We did not know this when we checked in. We headed down to breakfast at 8am and asked to pay the 500 yen/person for breakfast, but the front desk told us that since we had not made a reservation the night before, we could not have breakfast. Our room did have a mosquitos in it. We also saw another occupant return some borrowed bug repellent to the front desk while leaving. The location is not bad. It's about a 15 min walk to the beach. They do have private and public onsets at this hotel if you're looking for that. For the price and if you cannot get parking, you may want to look elsewhere.

Dated and expensive
Room was clean but dated. We went during a high demand time so the room was very expensive. I don’t recommend paying more than a a hundred and fifty dollars per night at this hotel. The staff, however, were very nice and the breakfast in the morning was nothing special except for the grill yourself fish; that was quite tasty. I would book again but only if it were much cheaper.

Great location, reasonable price, friendly staffs.
Check-in on 25 Aug. it happened to be day of the biggest firework festival of the year in Atami, and everywhere else we’re charging astronomical prices for their rooms, except Condominium Hotel Grandview. The premise is just 7 mins walk from Atami Station, but there are no eateries around the hotel. The hotel itself is quite old and small, but the room that we had was clean and bright. There was also a small kitchenette inside the room so good if one wants to stay indoor. Public baths are on the rooftop but they are rather run down. The staffs will gladly guide you to a private bath nearby if one wish though. The rooftop is good for another use though. Since it has an non-obstructed view of the Sun Beach, which was where the firework, it’s a perfect place to enjoy the big firework without having to walk down to the crowded beach (the beach is just mins of walk away from the hotel anyway)! Recommended for small families. People who prefer a romantic get-a-way may want to look somewhere else.

Easy access to the beachfront -- about 5-7 minutes walk downhill. 7-eleven is also at bottom of hill. About 10-minute walk downhill from the JR Atami station. 700-yen ride to Atami station is suggested if you have a heavy suitcase(s).

Private hot spring baths
Japanese style condo with kitchenette, close to Atami station and Sun beach. Has 6 types of hot spring baths- 1 each men/women outdoor common baths on rooftop (Tattoos Not Aloud), 2 private baths with large opening windows overlooking resort and 3 private indoor jacuzzi baths without windows. Tattoos are usually not welcomed in common bathing areas at most hot spring resorts so these private baths were very nice and relaxing. No extra fee, no reservations required, no time limit. You can bathe as much as you like whenever available. Friendly staff and good food.

Huge room space with private bath
This property has certain features that are different than the regular hot spring hotels. We as a family stayed in the 2DLK room. It's essentially a fully function apartment. They gender separate hot springs on the rooftop and private baths in the basement which we utilize so our toddler son can join us. There are a few things worth knowing though. The entrance to the hotel is tiny and not stroller friendly. Place can be reach by one road so having GPS is helpful.

Clean, nice, spacious and extra room with tatami
Room is so spacious and clean. It is nice to have extra room with Tatami. Glad it also has a washer but took too long to dry clothes. The only draw back was the bedroom door was made with glass that the light from outside hallway penetrates into bedrooms. The breakfast was a deal with only $5.
