The location was perfect to explore the area set in a quiet village, but only 5 minutes in the car to the beach or shops. "We had the most incredible week at the villa. The owner was so friendly and informative about the area and was on hand to sort any issues that we had during our stay. Not that we really had any! The village was an unexpected gem. Very peaceful location with two fantastic restaurants to go to, within a couple of minutes walk. "We are a family of 6 adults and our stay at Athena Villa was wonderful. The house is huge with plenty of spaces to be together or alone. Kitchen and amenities fabulous. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. We arrived to a wine fruit and local olive oil basket. Bedrooms and bathrooms all well appointed and very comfortable. The location is central to so many lovely places to visit and so many fabulous travenas. We had a super time staying at the property"

"What a beautiful location Villa Eros is. It has stunning views, that weren't expected when dining outside every evening & the pool was great. We were a family of 5 - 1 baby 7 months. The pictures genuinely don't do it justice & its walking distance to a taverna, a cafe & a lovely restaurant. Easy to get a taxi to Rethymnon, but id suggest rent a car.
