"This villa is first class. Very spacious with plenty of room for our large group. Everything was great. The facilities are many and excellent. Whilst possible to walk to Santa Pola a hire car enables you to visit the many attractions in the area. And if some of the group don’t want to go out there is plenty to keep them occupied back at the villa. Check in/out was quick and without fuss. "Great location, lovely outside space and well equipped kitchen. Bed linen and towels were shabby and old. Beds were uncomfortable and the TV channels were all German which is fine as didn't use it. Bathrooms were lovely but the house smelt of smoke as the cleaner smoked in there before arrived. Some of the shutters didn't work and some of the locks didn't work on the windows. Loved El Raso, great location and beautiful pool area but we would not stay again. We had to pay 180 euros for crap linen...

"This is a gem of a property. Traditional Spanish house with quirky decor. Exceptionally well equipped for a long or short stay. Very comfortable bed, good modern shower and a beautiful view of city, sea and castle from the sunny roof terrace. Great location close to transport links, fresh food market and restaurants. It is in quite an elevated position and the house has steep stairs but it’s all very manageable if you are reasonably mobile. We stayed a whole month and loved it. Excellent...

There is a dog shelter up on the hill behind house that can generate a little noise first thing in the morning (assuming feeding time!) but nothing that should put you off staying in this beautiful and fantastically equipped home"
