"Staying at The Garage in Iceland was absolutely amazing! The place was perfect—immaculately clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (the cookies were such a sweet touch!). "Beautiful cozy cottages, modern amenities, close driving distance to waterfalls. Isolated, low light pollution great for stargazing and northern lights. The loft cottages have upper loft floor with sky window, very cool. For a couple with or without small child is enough space. Communication with access instructions was easy. People have complained about inflexible cancellation policy, but these are family-run cottages, not a big hotel, so they depend on the income and last minute cancellations...

"Great property! Very clean. Upon entering the guesthouse was very warm which was nice since Iceland is very cold in Jan. We were able to see the Northern Lights so clearly here since there’s very little light pollution. Area was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again. "
