"We liked the ability to walk to the ocean or hang out on the Bahia’s beach located on the bay and the easy drive to Old town and San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Seaworld and Belmont Park. The Dockside 1953 restaurant, located on the property, was an excellent place to end the day sitting next to the fire with a delicious craft cocktail or enjoy a delicious meal. "Everything was great, with the exception of the musty smell in the room. The smell never went away because each and every time you enter the room the musty smell is unmistakably pronounced. However, you’ll get “nose blind” to the smell the longer you are in the room. We were upgraded to the room we were in which looks recently renovated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself and the grounds looked clean and well maintained. "
