"The house was great for our family. It had two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Plus two other bedrooms. Beautiful deck. The fenced in yard allowed play location for the kids. I saw on other comments mention of dust webs...true if you look for them... but welcome to the woods. Overall it has a clean feeling. Advice, bring hand towels... there arent any in the 4 bathrooms in the house. If we go back to Raystown...wed reserve this house again!"

"Loved staying in the Bright carriage house. Perfect size for us and great location. Had everything we needed. Hosts were exceptional and went out of their way to accommodate us. If you are in the area, please consider this unit or the Ganister House next door. You will be hard pressed to find better accommodations!"

"The house inside was decently clean with the exception of the bathtub that was dirty. The area outside was another story. The outside was extremely unkept . The house looked uninhabitable. I never seen such dirty windows with so many cobwebs in my life. The porch was also super dirty with green mold. "

Hidden gem of Blair county

"Hidden gem of Blair county! This area was my hometown before I moved on to earn a doctorate degree and start my own LLC. Played miniature golf at The Meadows in highschool and drove past this motel hundreds of times on my way to my boyfriend's house. Never noticed it until decades later when I returned to do some detective work. The couple in charge really takes pride in delivering exactly what is promised, a squeaky clean room. You will also receive unlimited heat, a great cable channel selection, convenient parking as well as privacy, peace and quiet. Or, you could waste money on the other corporate brand hotels. It's your choice..."
