"The lodge and reception are in different buildings so be aware if it’s raining. Room was compact, but clean and tidy. No room service. The restaurant is in the main building too. Reception staff were lovely. We could hear other guests above us, but it wasn’t an issue for us, though we would ask for an upstairs room next time. Not very level entrance to the lodge, so I’d be wary if not fit to walk unaided. Beautiful surroundings. At the top of a steep hill, so wouldn’t want to be here without a car. Very nice. We will return."
