"We really enjoyed the comfortable and open space of the house. After a fun day of hiking and birdwatching at the Horicon Marsh we made a lovely dinner and watched a movie from the wide variety of media options. Such a wonderful family getaway! Seeing a pair of eagles was the highlight of the weekend!"

"My husband and I decided to get away after Christmas for some down time. We didn’t want to drive too far, but wanted somewhere secluded. This place was ideal. The trails are really nice, it’s very quiet and just what we needed. I rated it a 4 out of 5 only because there was no light in back so we always needed a high powered flashlight if we needed to take our dogs out and there are no window coverings over the front door, so when sitting in the front room watching TV anyone could look in since...

"This home had everything we needed for a relaxing family stay. We played games in front of the fire and exercised our dog in the (surprise!) fenced-in backyard. "

"Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and weekend retreat. We got to see a flock of turkeys in the front yard on Thanksgiving morning! The house and property was as advertised. Plenty of space for our large party. The kitchen was well stocked which helped with our holiday meal prep. Family loved playing pool and the video games. Great place to stay! We will be back!"

"With a beautiful southern exposure and sunny views of a gem of a lake, this place is very relaxing and welcoming as a rental home. The views from the porches are equally as inviting with plenty of spaces to enjoy inside and out. A well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding and the price put this lake house on the top of our return list!"

"Do NOT book this property!!!! Owner never contacted us. Got there and no answer and no way to get in. VRBO would only refund. No extra help because it was “only for one night”. We are left stranded with nowhere to sleep. Had to drive 4 more hours even though we were exhausted. No a great idea."
