"An overnight stay before flying out the next morning. It was a nice room above the pub. Yes, up two flights of stairs, but that added to the charm of the place. We had supper at the pub, convenient. A bit surprised that my whisky sour was €12! A Tuesday night, so it wasn’t loud down in the pub, as others have mentioned. "

"The pub is fantastic, one of the best we visited in Dublin! The room was clean and very nice. The staff were very nice as well. I’m giving it 2/5 stars because we had no hot water (shower) for 3 days, and upon trying to get it resolved, nobody helped or did anything. Otherwise, it would have been a good stay. "

"Brilliant location, clean and comfortable. Ridiculously noisy until the early hours but that's the price you pay to be in the thick of the nightlife "

"The hotel and pub staff were very helpful and very accommodating when we requested something. They allowed us to check in early which was helpful, but that might have impacted the cleanliness of the rooms. Maybe if they had more time, the rooms would have been more thoroughly cleaned. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay. "

I had a reservation for 2 nights, rec'd numerous emails from hotels.com about it (including the one linking to this survey) only to get there and be told the B&B closed in Nov 2022 and there was no lodging to be had. They literally laughed when we walked in. I contacted hotels.com online, only to be told they couldn't help. "We had a great time here. Nice property and grounds to walk around. They have 2 sheep on the property (gated away) that we passed by on our walk through the woods (watch out for pesky nettle in Ireland)! Great hospitality from Eva (the caretaker) and the bread and jam basket was lovely. Clean and heat worked well. Plenty of parking if need be.
