"We enjoyed our second stay at the Republic and have referred several friends to the hotel. It has a first class breakfast, WiFi, and elevator. It is close enough to Termini to be convenient but not too close to the negativity that accompanies the station. Our room was perfect for our stay. The only negative is the shower, which is with the worst possible flooring when wet and soapy. I felt lucky to have not fallen."

"Property was clean, good size for single traveller. Check in was good and staff were nice. Only complaint Shower was not so great and on its last legs and difficult to use, with lots of limescale."

"I really enjoyed my stay at The Hive Hotel. It was in a great location, with pretty easy access to all of the major sights. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning the room daily and providing fresh towels. Room was very comfortable and much appreciated after long days of sightseeing. "

"This was my last of several hotel stays after a week in Europe. Happy to say that it was a pleasant end to the trip. The front desk person was super kind and patient as I figured out my way to the office. She also very kindly showed me the room and gave me an explanation of the stay. The room had ample space for a solo traveler and was a quiet and comfortable night. The elevator is a tight squeeze if you have more than one piece of luggage."

"This hotel is located near the train station and bus depot which is very convenient. Rooms are large and comfortable as is the bathroom. The heated towel rack is an added feature. Room safe and fridge along with a large open closet area is helpful. Very quiet at night at this no smoking hotel. Ample breakfast offered each morning. No gym or pool here. Desk staff is multi lingual and very helpful. I recommend this property for access to restaurants nearby. "

"The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is outstanding. Great, inexpensive shopping options are all within 2 blocks. There are three outstanding cafes within 1 block and 2 great restaurants. We were here a year ago and chose to stay here again. We are going to be away for a few days in the North but will stay here again when we return before heading back to the U.S. Highly recommend!"
