TOKY Hôtel
4/5 Good
"This property has been open for a year, but I was only the second foreign guest to date. The location probably explains why, as it is deep inside a slum neighborhood with only dirt roads and lots of mud puddles. However, the saving grace is the hotel's management, who went above and beyond in providing excellent service. On the night we checked-in, torrential rain made it impossible to go out and get dinner. Staff members drove us in their 4x4 to a restaurant, patiently waited for us, and drove us back. Wow, that blew me away! They just really need better access, but remember, it's Madagascar. You didn't come here for world-class infrastructure."
