"Home was exactly as advertised and better in so many ways. Had everything we needed. Large space with comfy beds. Very clean. Lots of unique nice touches (fire pit, smoker, TVs with lots of options, games, puzzles, snacks, tankless hot water heater) all in a beautiful location. "

"My family, which included eight adults and two children, stayed three nights for my son’s wedding.This home was perfect for us due to its amount of bedrooms, living space, two kitchens and a big game room. It was a 10-15 min drive to a vineyard and 20 to 25 minute drive to my son’s wedding venue.In James Monroe Highland. I would definitely stay there again."

"We had a wonderful time at Riverview Cabin paddle boarding in the river, relaxing in the hot tub, and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. The location is extremely private and serene but close enough to some fun amenities. We especially enjoyed Bryd Cellars winery. The cabin itself is very comfortable and well-equipped. We hope to return soon!"

" The property provided everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time with our family members and the space was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. We had a great walk over to the retreat center nearby where we saw deer and a spectacular view of the James River. For adventure and groceries we went to nearby Scottsville where we enjoyed dining and shopping. The wedding was wonderful and the property was perfect to reconnect with family during our stay."

"We were going to a wedding at a wi dry venue near Charlottesville. There were 8 of us and this house was a perfect alternative to going to a hotel. House was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. It was a 30 minute drive to Charlottesville and 30 minute drive to wedding venue so it required a bit of driving on some country roads. But everyone had a nice time together. "

"Initial drive to the property was worrysome with surrounding properties being a little bit under maintained but our over all stay was great for what we needed. The home was very clean inside and exceeded our expectations from what we were concerned with coming down the dead end lane. when we arrived a lawn maintenance person was actively cutting grass, friendly. the entrance exit situation can be improved, you will always have to walk through grass/dirt (no walkway) to unlock the front door...

"My husband and I escaped our busy lives so we could relax, celebrate his birthday and a long overdue 30th anniversary. It may have been way too short of a vacation but we did exactly what we came to do. We have already passed on the link to several friends so they can do the same.
