"Third time staying at the hotel, it won’t be our last. It was however our first time in an upper room. It was beautiful, but we prefer the lower rooms. While it was not an issue, the stairs creeks were not the most comfortable when using them - especially for a bigger person. "

I want to clarify something, yes you are right that it is very far from everything but if you are looking for peace and relaxation you will not regret it, it is the perfect place.Second, they say that you use a dirt road and that is also correct. Maybe it is a 10-minute road, but it is not a problem if you drive carefully, you will not have any problems getting there. The staff's attention is phenomenal, the food is excellent and the cost is reasonable. Another point that the comments point out is that there is no cell phone signal and it is also correct.They have internet there and I'm not lying, some days it was very complicated to have communication from my room, but another day I spent it in the pool and in that area I never had a problem getting a signal.I repeat, if you want to rest and get away from the noise, it is a place with an incredible view and excellent for disconnecting from the world. I will not hesitate to return. One last thing, Mr. Alberto is a wonderful person. "

"We loved our stay at the naked so much that we extended by a night. The hotel is perfectly located on beachfront and within 2-3 mins walk of shops, restaurants, bars, massage places etc… Staff were super helpful in arranging transfers and kept the drinks flowing by the beach and pool loungers. Particularly loved the afternoon DJ set on weekends which makes the naked the Place to Be! "

"We love El Alquimista! This is probably the most luxurious place to stay in Zipolite and you will not be disappointed. Attention to detail and exceptional service is one of the key points for our recurring stays here. They truly take care of you! Two of our favorite staff are Louis & Cheely. They take excellent care of you in the restaurant and on the beach! After just day one they knew what we drank and what we liked. They just made life so simple and enjoyable for us. Louis had our umbrella and table waiting every day. With him we truly never needed for ANYTHING! Food here is EXCELLENT! The grounds here are just beautiful and well maintained! The front desk guys also do a wonderful job and can schedule transportation for you to and from the airport. Nothing like getting off the plane in HUX and having a smiling face holding a card with your name on it! El Alquimista makes it difficult for you to want to leave the property. The quality of services and food are hard to beat in this small town. The ambience is also just over the top! We loved all the candles at night and the refined vibe! This is our forever place in Zipolite!"

"Visited for the first time. Seems like a new property and -let me tell you- the views are absolutely stunning! The pictures DO NOT do it justice. The rooms are much, much nicer in person. Easy to get there and, lastly, dont forget to try the shrimp tacos, trust me "

"This was a great place to call home. It felt very welcoming, staff was really nice, helpful and friendly. The pool and deck area are a gem. Breakfasts were hearty and different every day. Great towels for beach and pool. Only complaint was that they shocked the pool during daytime hours which closed it (should be done at night) and rooms could use some decor on walls."
