"I enjoyed the home, however unfortunately I could not give a full five star review for this property due to cleanliness. House seemed unkept, not cleaned or checked prior to stay. Stove and oven not clean (setting off smoke detector upon use); Floors not vacuumed, food on kitchen floor; All surfaces dusty; Windows inside dirty; Several light bulbs burnt out. "

"We particularly enjoyed the spectacular views. Beds were comfy. Found the decor a bit overdone. Lighting was hard to figure out (especially since we were directed to keep outside lighting at a minimum.) Master toilet didn't work (sent message to property manager). One bedroom on mid-level did not have a bathroom access (found that to be a little strange) and not represented in information about the house. Hot water not working in one of the kitchen sinks and took forever to get hot in the other...

"We had another wonderful stay here and that's why we keep coming back! The house is always so clean and well kept. We always feel so relaxed up in the mountains. The beautiful windows at this cabin provide such a great view of the trees and little birds outside. We loved it as always!"

"We had a wonderful time at the Harvest Moon. Good location for a mountain getaway. The house is decorated nicely and is cozy. Basement is a plus with the pool table, air hockey and hot tub. The owners were easy to reach and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I hope to go again one day!"

"We all loved the home. We were so comfortable and enjoyed all of the upgrades throughout the house. It was perfect for our gathering, and we hated to leave. The host was remarkably responsive, and went out of his way to ensure that we had a pleasant stay."

"We live locally but had friends and family coming to town for my birthday so we rented Riley’s retreat. Our weekend was filled with visits to all the food and beverages on 151. I loved the fun amenities at the house ( hot tub, pool table, games, etc). My initial investigation I didn’t realize we we so far up Wintergreen but in the end it did not matter and was a perfect house for the weekend ! Thank you !!"

"The communication was excellent before and during the stay - they checked in and followed up with us. The property had everything we needed for a great weekend. A quick 2 minute drive to the Wintergreen restaurants and small store. "

"The property was overall nice with minor issues. It had a funky smell upon entering, most likely due to moisture and several outlets were not working. Access to the property was very difficult for my mother with mobility issues since it went down wooden stairs that were slippery after the rain. The third bedroom is a loft with no privacy (door or enclosed walls) and due to the vaulted ceiling adults can’t comfortably be up there. "

"My family and I recently spent a long weekend in August at this family-friendly chalet in Wintergreen and loved every moment. The owners really thought of everything! Highly recommend! "

"My wife Teresa and I have been staying here for 11 years now. Every year for the last eleven years we have stayed the last week of Oct. The view is incredible. It never gets old. Something else that is very important to my wife and I is that the foyer door is only about 15 feet from the parking lot and its a flat walkway. Also, once in the foyer, its literally 2 steps to the stairs which are only 9 stairs. Most condos at Wintergreen are a hike just getting to the front door of the unit. Not...

Wedding Getaway

"We came to stay in this area to attend my best friend's wedding. There were around 100 guests at the wedding and everyone had rented a home in the area. Our location was perfect! We were near other guests, the venue, and several breweries. There were several activities planed at the resort as well. We were able to spend one day in Charlottesville as well but it was around a 50 minute drive. We really enjoyed the view and trails around the home. There are several balconies to relax on but we spent the majority of evenings by the firepit. We really enjoyed our time and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home. "
