"This is a wonderful mountain getaway on a working horse farm minutes from downtown Lexington. From the moment we booked, almost a month in advance, we received great communication from our Host Doris. Our accommodations were well-appointed and comfortable. Doris provided fresh eggs and milk and all of the drawers were well stocked with spices and cookware. Both Doris and Dennis made time for us to chat when we saw them during our stay. We appreciated their hospitality and their charming getaway....

"The location was great. Adequate for the base price. The place itself was comfortable but could really use some updates, particularly in the kitchen. It was disappointing that for such a high property fee, you did not get access to any of the amenities at the aquatic and fitness center. "

"My husband and I decided to stay for a one-night mini getaway. The driveway made it feel like you were tucked away back in the middle of no where. Upon getting inside, the place was very clean, well decorated and cozy. Everything you need is there: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. The bathtub and shower make this place even sweeter. We took a nice epsom salt bath, cuddled up and watched Netflix. The bed and linens were SO comfortable. "

"We had a great stay in this lovely house! It looks fantastic and surrounded by beautiful nature. We took a few easy trails in the resort. The shamokin falls trail was gorgeous, but our swim at Paul's Creek waterslides is one to always remember. And for me the black Bear in the direct surrounding was an absolute highlight!"

"Staying in this beautiful historic home was like staying with dear friends. It’s a lovely house in a great neighborhood. It was clean and inviting. Virgil was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. The beds were so comfortable that I slept as well as I do at home. We walked to great restaurants and all around the neighborhood and local park. We loved the front porch! We would definitely stay here again."

"David’s property was wonderful. We were greeted by Mitzi with a giant bowl of candy that was so sweet and kind. The place was spotless and we absolutely loved it there. It was so beautiful. It had everything that we wanted. Older home that has been renovated to today's needs and wants was situated on a higher point offering great viewes day and night of the Blue Ridge mountains (could see muliple ridges).
