"The hotel is difficult to locate, Google maps takes you to one street over. When you find the front door it looks like an apartment entrance in a row of shops. Then you have to climb stairs. But it is worth the effort. Great staff and service. Lots of character and very clean."

"This small boutique hotel has rooms right on the Douro River. The view was amazing! Located in the historic old town, it was convenient to walk everywhere. The room and bathroom were large and roomy, and the bed and linens were comfortable. Breakfast included was very good, with many fresh fruits, breads, and eggs to order."

"This hotel is in middle of the city which is great if you want to walk around and eveything was easy to get to. Getting a taxi is easy or bolt like uber is very friendly. The staff is super nice and friendly the breakfast was serviced with so much care. We enjoyed that alot. But the bed is hard mattresses that was very uncomfortable for us. The room we selected was garden facing but no view of the garden that was disappointing. The sofa bed was also not very comfortable. "

"Suzanna and Antonio are wonderful hosts and the guest house is beautiful and comfortable. The man that was on staff ( I’m sorry I don’t remember his name) was always available and took great care of our room as well as creating a delicious breakfast buffet.
