"This is nice enough all inclusive but the food and drinks options are very very limited for AI. The buffet is not great and the AI options at restaurants were pretty bad and so were the drinks. Pool DJ was the best part about this hotel"

"The pool, breakfast & bar area provided a good choice of food & drink options The room we stayed in was large & very clean. Unfortunately, the room had a kettle, but lacked any tea or coffee cups. The tv reception was poor on ocassion. Our main issue, was the NOISE, situated close to the Hard Rock Cafe, the room should have sound proof windows!! We should have been told & received the option to move!! "

"We have been to number of all inclusive hotels and this was the best one we have experienced. The food was excellent (all inclusive) and although the hotel was a little dated it was spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. We weren’t there with smaller children, but there were fun activities laid in for them in one area of the pool. We were only there 5 days so didnt really do any exertions but there seemed a lot on offer - definitely enough to occupy you for 2 weeks....

"I really liked this resort. We treated ourself to this 5 star hotel for our anniversary. They have an incredible pool, the biggest salty water pool in Europe and the Spa massage made me fly. The location itself is stunning and it's 30 seconds walk from the ocean. The staff has always been helpful and kind whenever we asked for something. Dream place and you feel like a king/queen. "Absolutely beautiful settings and the staff cannot do more for you! The only thing that I haven’t experienced before being all inclusive is that you have to use the same pool towel for the duration of your stay unless you pay €1 per towel per day to change it. Other than that highly recommend"

"The hotel had a lovely view of the volcano and the mountains, but it was quite a long walk away from high street down a steep hill. It wasn’t a problem to do the walk a couple of times, but definitely not every day. "We rented to see what living off the coast and into the hills would be like. The set up is great, all amenities there were well looked after and we felt we had the place to ourselves even though there were other guests. Very peaceful and night and great for star gazing. We did not use the pool as weather was not hot enough, but we did BBQ a couple of times which was lovely. The log burner was a nice feature but was needed at night. For us a little too remote and we liked to be back before dark...

"Great room! Lovely big bed. The golf view terrace with sun loungers was amazing if you wanted an alternative to pool side. Great pool area with one accessible pool via ramp. Indian restaurant located in hotel was pretty good. Unfortunately multiple balcony door locks where broken meaning the room was unsecure. This was fixed after asking at reception within a couple of hours. Not ideal as this should be checked by hotel but happy the issue was resolved. Expensive hotel shop but loads of choice within a 20 minute walk. Would stay again!"

"amazing value for money. I couldn't recommend it more. it's an architectural marvel which perfectly blends into the surrounding. It's nearby one of the best beaches ok the island. It also offers amazing sunsets and stunning ocean views with nearby island gomera in the background. The quality of service is outstanding. we always felt wholeheartedly welcome and all staff was attentive to our needs. it exceeded all my expectations and I'm surely coming again hopefully soon 👌"

Wonderful stay at the Meliá

"It is a lovely hotel with great facilities for adults. The check-in was very good and lovely helpful staff. Our junior suite was a great size with a balcony overlooking the pool. We were staying half board and the food especially at breakfast was excellent. There was the opportunity to sit outside on the terrace which was very nice indeed as the views were amazing. The pool area was lovely and we managed to get sun loungers each morning. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely return or visit another Meliá hotel. "
