"This was the most fabulous stop off having driven out from the UK, giving us a good break and enabling us to drive up to our ski resort early the next day. It was really comfortable. We were well prepared and had all our food and a nice bottle of wine with us.We enjoyed the football table and a few books.The accommodation would also work well for a large group.It’s a small drive off the main highway and it took us a little extra time to find, so worth paying attention to directions in advance. "

"We loved that this gave us a direct view of the Mont Blanc! We were rather surprised to learn that the room didn't come with its own bathroom. That part was not clear in Expedia but we were okay with it. The room was really small. Not ideal for tall people. We bumped our heads. The breakfast was pretty limited. "

"We had a wonderful week in Saint Gervais and enjoyed the time in the beautiful appartment. It was so cosy and welcoming, we had a wonderful time there. The livingroom is perfect for a relaxing evening after a day of skiing. The kitchens has everything you need to cook a great dinner. The view from the balcony is probably one of the best ones you can have in Saint Gervais. We will definitely recommend it and probably come back in the near future. Thank you for an awesome stay. "

"Ma copine et moi avons passé un long week-end à la grange aux loups et nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. Clotilde et Paul sont très accueillants et sympathiques et les lieux chaleureux (très belle chambre). La bonne humeur et les spécialités régionales étaient présentes ! Rien à redire, nous recommandons sans hésitation."

"We had a good stay. Ok value."

"We arrived at 1530, for a 1700 check in and the hotel was utter chaos. Cars everywhere on the ramp causing congestion with no way past. Eventually got into the car park and lugged all our stuff into reception by 1545. The reception area was like a zoo. Bags, skis, and people everywhere. We were eventually seen and told our room would be ready in 30 minutes and to go back. 30 minutes later, I went back and was ignored by 4 receptionists who just kept walking past. "2 Grand parents 3 grand children We took the appartment for 12 !! # brilliant - bike rides ,tennis,walking, Sunset Beach Restaurant a short drive lovely staff even better food at extremely reasonable prices The only problem was the outdoor pool ( open until 30 Sept) was closed And rthe uindoor pool- open all year round was also closed A big disappointment for the kids -a bit less so for me !!"

"It is a lovely spot. Brand new, close to the train station for easy access. My only suggestion is that given the rooms are small with no closet, there should be more hooks on the wall to hang coats and so forth. It is also extremely dry air, some humidifiers might be worth considering. "

Plan B - great stay !

"Really great friendly staff -rooms small but ok - food was very good. Location quiet but good links to slopes with new cable car link to St Gervais. Couple of decent restaurants in La Fayet but have to go to St Gervais for better choice. Think this little town will grow with new links etc. "

Ski trip

"Ski trip with my family. Stayed for 5 nights and found it very convenient for Saint Gervais ski and eateries. Hotel is in a quiet location too so slept well. Only real issue was that the bar wasn’t open We’d and Thurs during our stay. Reception staff were very good. "

"A lovely base for our stay. The view from the room was incredible. Staff lovely and friendly. Pool and sauna was a lovely addition. I did expect a kettle in the room so was a little disappointed to not have one . In my opinion the bar also lacked atmosphere. I would stay again. "

Would 100% recommend!

"We loved our stay at Mamie Megève. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely. Initially we had thought it might have been an issue having to get a shuttle to the slopes but they were regular and really easy. Special shoutout to Miloud, a driver from a neighbouring hotel (L’ambrosie) who picked us up from the slopes and took us back to Mamie Megeve. He was very friendly and really helped us out as we were really tired from a whole day of skiing. Would definitely recommend staying at M.M and hope to come back here in the future."
