"I cannot rave enough about this storybook gem in the Rize/Black Sea area. The hosts, Mustafa & Özlem, are a delightful young couple who are extremely attentive, helpful & generous. After a few days, I felt like family! Rent a car at the airport & in less than 30 minutes you’ll be transported to a lush, green, mountainous village where the Lettasi Bungalows are perfectly situated along a babbling stream amidst a working tea farm. Each beautifully constructed A-frame bungalow is spacious & airy with a large living space, convenient kitchen, very nice bathroom with walk-in shower, & sizable sleeping loft with a VERY comfortable cozy bed. My favorite part is the rear yard (private for each bungalow) which looks out on a vast tea garden punctuated with kiwi & hazelnut trees. All this & a most delicious breakfast which includes an assortment of homemade jams (courtesy of Özlem’s excellent culinary skills)….. I could move right in! Lettasi Bungalows are conveniently located to loads of river rafting & zipline outfits, Black Sea beaches & less than 1/2 hour drive to the famed Rize Tea Center, Cay Carsisi. I hope to return one day."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ayder Villa de Pelit! They now have a restaurant on site with a beautiful traditional Turkish breakfast and that stays open until 11pm. They do serve alcohol if you wish. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating during our stay and very communicative via email and WhatsApp prior to our arrival. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. Please note, you have to walk up to the property on a paved trail. The staff will meet you at the bottom to take your bags up via a pulley and valet your car. This just adds to the charm of the visit. Also, there are no air conditioners but we stayed in August and the nights are cool where it is truly not needed. We stayed in the Limba Suite for reference. Lastly, the location is right in the center of town…you can walk up to cute shops and restaurants or down for more of the same. We would definitely return and hope we get the opportunity to do such! "

"We stayed here for a couple of nights during our trip to Trabzon/Rize area. The bungalows are newly built, rooms are very clean, the views are stunning. The recessed lights around the bed and the jacuzzi gave a really nice touch. Mehmet and Fatme were very helpful and extremely courteous and personable. We needed an extra bed for our 2nd child and they kindly provided one. Breakfast which is included in your booking is home made and fresh. Even the vegetables are locally grown. We wish we knew how beautiful this part of turkey is, we would have stayed here for a few more days. Highly recommend this place."
