"We was greeted by Paulo what a very friendly guy who showed us everything about the villa and took me on a tour of where to get the train and local supermarket. This place is quite away from Porto but don’t let this put you off I would recommend you get the uber app they are so cheap and book an uber from the airport we was charged 45 euros by a taxi but we booked an uber for the return back to the airport which was 21 that was for a large vehicle normal car was 13 . "

"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"We spent two nights in August at this villa and would have liked to stay longer. It's well equipped and very comfortable, and although there were only three of us there is plenty of room for six people. The villa is about a 20 mins walk to the beach if you don't want to drive. Lucilia, our host was there at the same time and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for your hospitality - the confiture was delicious!"

"The villa was clean, spacious and comfortable. It has a beautiful appearance.We were welcomed with a large plate of fruits, cheese and meats on the kitchen table, and a lovely birthday cake in the fridge for me. The hosts also left various drinks, cooking oil and sauces for us to use.The garden was also spacious and attractive, with a badminton net and football goals - bats, ball etc provided.There were plenty of facilities, including a washing & drying room, and a loo near the pool.The pool was...

"We all had an enjoyable stay, the house was spacious, well equipped and in a quiet residential area with few shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The pool and garden were great for the kids and the metro nearby was handy for trips into Porto. Maria was a great host and very communicative, regarding any questions we had."

"We found the this property perfectly located and an easy walk to everything. The rooms and apartment layout allowed us to spread out and relax after busy days exploring beautiful Porto. "Propriétaire très agréable et très disponible. Situation géographique très pratique , tout à proximité, voiture inutile. Extérieur de la maison très bien entretenue, mais un petit bémol odorant ambiant ainsi que pour le linge de maison. "

"The villa was very well planned, the bedrooms and the living room were separated, the living room voices did not come into the bedrooms, all bedrooms had their own bathrooms and there was also a shared toilet, the pool was warm, but the weather was bad, restaurants nearby, grocery stores a short drive away, everything was great except the weather :), Thank You Gilles and Joelle!"

"A wonderful and warm welcome and greeting by Leonor. Her English is excellent and made us feel very welcome. Later in the evening, there are a few - possibly homeless people around the street. They do not seem bad though and mind their own business. The Mercator do Balhão is just down the road. Amazing experience and great restaurants on then top level. The lower level has souvenirs and fresh seafood and wine-tasting stations. "
