"We loved the location close to the beach, great seafood restaurants and towns. The house was large, well appointed and very relaxing. Weather was not quite warm enough for the pool but it was very tempting and wonderful to have it available. The northern coast was delightful and our hosts suggestions for places to visit were excellent. Many thanks for a very enjoyable stay."

"Nous y avons passé 15 jours en famille, tout était parfait, l’accueil était chaleureux et les propriétaires sont restés disponibles mais très discret pour nous conseiller sur les différents activités de la région. La maison est grande avec tout ce qu’il fallait pour notre famille, et la piscine un grand plus. Le cadre agréable pour se reposer dans un beau jardin bien entretenu. Je conseille sans hésitation cette location."

"We have a large family consisting of married couples and some with children and so we offered it is an open house to arrive and depart when you want over the three weeks that we hired the property in August and it did not disappoint. A 50 minute taxi ride from Porto we spent the first two weeks just using Ubers to get into Viana which is about a 10 minute drive away and the amazing beaches which straddle each side of the town, the final week we did hire a car. "The house is just minutes from the beach. Even in early August the beach is not crowded. Water temperatures were around 16 C. The beach gets windy in the afternoon when kite surfers start. There are life guards which adds extra safety. The little town is cute with restaurants, beach cafes and a little grocery store. A train to Porto runs a few times a day. The house itself has some charming aspects such as the ocean view and the hardwood floor. The kitchen has a lot of useful things....

"We had a wonderful time at Casa da Armada and the villa was spacious and comfortable. Our host was responsive and friendly from the time we decide to rent the villa all the way to our checkout. We loved the outdoor dining table under the grape vines. It is located in a rural setting but is only about 10 min car ride to town for groceries, restaurants and any other needs. Upon our arrival, we noticed that pool needed some cleaning. After notifying the host, a pool technician was sent the next day...

"This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."
