"Our room was well designed and comfortable, four poster bed with a great private terrace and lovely views of the old town. The hotel itself is well located and appointed with a good bar and lovely breakfast room. Just an observation and not a criticism, the light fittings are positioned to low and there are some repairs and new furnishings required to bring things to the highest standard. "

"The hotel is on a recently renovated building, very close to all main attractions in the city center. We enjoyed very much our stay. BEWARE: The hotel recommends you to stay at the Parking Plaza del Arenal and send you a link to make a reservation, which has to be paid by credit card at least 2 hours before arrival. If you do so, there is a very attractive reduced rate of approximately 10 euros per day. The system advertises it accepts all major credit cards, but none my US based cards didn’t go through and used an European based card. Unfortunately during the transaction my card was stolen and when I arrived home found that the card had a charge of 200 euro from a money transfer company (same day and around the same time I was also paying for the parking online!!). Yesterday I had to file a claim with the bank. I now have to wait 2 weeks to see what happens. Not sure what the outcome will be as the transaction went through EVEN THOUGH I never authorized it. Lesson learned! This is the kind of service that I will never pay online again."

"Beautiful property- attached right to the bodega Tio Pepe! Excellent location to walk all around Jerez. A glass of sherry on the rooftop terrace looking at the cathedral was wonderful! Every staff member was so friendly and made our stay so nice. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Spectacular! Impeccable service! Beautiful room with gorgeous courtyard view from balcony. Loved every moment spent here. The Christmas tree was breathtaking. But where my heart skipped a beat was when the children from Jerez came into the lobby and were greeted by the Magi ( 3 Kings celebrated here), it took me back to my childhood. This converted palace is a must visit even if you don't stay here. We loved it!"

"Extremely basic hotel. Windows could not be opened and the shutters were stuck. However, room was cleaned well each day and new towels provided. Staff were friendly and, im sure, would have been helpful if I needed any. Great central location and the budget price matched expectations"
