"The hotel is located straight across from the Algeciras ferry port. Rooms were clean but keep windows closed at night to keep flying insects out. Tour companies are right next door where you can purchase a ferry tour ticket to Africa. I purchased a ferry tour from Tarifa to/back Tangiers for 50 euros. A free complimentary bus takes you from/back the Algeciras port parking lot to the Tarifa ferry port. A tour guide will take a walking tour of the market area. Lunch is included, except for...

"This property has great potential but is sadly in need of major updates! Everything looks tired. You get what you pay for and sadly they seem to be struggling to stay in business. There was a yoga class that used the grounds when we were there so it seems they are trying to get extra revenue in. I picked this place because of the great reviews & for a bit of relaxation, but it was a big letdown. Although they were not busy, there was no offer for a room upgrade."

"Lovely property. Good location in old town The terrace and other areas offer a pretty space for relaxing. hosts were gracious. Unfortunately due to a fiesta, we had to walk both ways with our bags as no taxis could be hailed. It’s a hike uphill! Hosts offered a wonderful local restaurant for dinner. "
