"Het was een prachtige lokatie met fantastisch zwembad! Het huis van honderden jaren oud was heerlijk ruim en schoon. De privacy in de buitenruimte ontbrak, dat was jammer. Je kan dat op de website ook niet zien, waar je precies komt te wonen en hoe dat ligt. Dat was jammer. En het is absoluut erg afgelegen. We waren zo'n 45 min. onderweg naar een wat grotere plaats zoals Arcidosso of Grosetto en Siena was 1u en 45u. Er zijn wel kleine dorpjes in de buurt. Naar zee is ook 3 kwartier ongeveer. ...

"We stayed two nights at Villa Ambra and were very pleased with all the amenities including full restaurant, excellent breakfast and very convenient and comfortable rooms. The owner and family gave great advice on places to visit in the nearby towns including Montipulciano and also arranged a tour and tasting of a winery owned by the hotels family."

"We stayed one night and were enchanted with the fortress turned hotel in the heart of Sorano. Our room had amazing views of the surrounding town, the breakfast had fantastic coffee and a wide assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, and pastries. The owners tour of the underground wine cellars and wine making process capped off with a tasting was informative and delicious."
