"In Far North Queensland I like Townsville best of all. It has full facilities and a nice open feel. The Oaks overlooking the River is perfect for a relaxing getaway. I couldn't fault it."

"This property exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and it was huge, with lovely views of the river, mountains and stadium. The location is very convenient, walking distance to the Cowboys leagues club and stadium which was the purpose of our trip. There are options within walking distance for dining, takeaway and groceries. Check in and check out was very easy also. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Townsville. "

"Great views and unit met all of our needs. Would’ve given a 5, but wi-fi was very poor and only worked in main areas of apartment, and facility was very frugal on amenities like toilet paper, detergent, soap, tissues and towels. Purchased these items but didn’t want to leave when we left since they probably wouldn’t be left for next inhabitant. "

"Our room was great and the staff were friendly and provided excellent communication. The property was within a 2 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Our room had a good size balcony for pm drinks and we could watch the ferries come and go. The property has 4 pools, but for us the best was in block 1 the same as our room. This pool had more sunshine than the others which could be shaded much of the day or windy. The roof top in block 1 was mostly sunny. "

The bed and pillow super comfortable and the property offers great value for money at a convenient location to the beach, restaurants and marina. Jennie was the manager and our point of contact. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the island, and a real joy to interact with. "
