"This house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 children. It was clean, cozy, and very well stocked. The view of HV slopes in the distance was beautiful. It’s super close to Holimont and HV! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub after skiing!! The house had many games available and the kids loved the big table game in the basement. Wonderful hosts and we would definitely stay here again. "

First of all, it was not very clear that this was two separate buildings, and tromping back and forth across the icy driveway was a challenge. "Beautiful cabin, accurate listing. Short drive to Ellicottville which has a lot of cool little shops and restaurants, and of course Holiday Valley Ski Resort. Why stay in a resort with just beds when you can stay in a house for the same cost?!? Very comfortable beds, and the views are amazing! Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area. Responsive hosts, 5 stars for sure! "

"A beautiful and well set up home away from home. There was a big snowfall before our arrival and the driveway was plowed and stairs shovelled. A large living room area that stayed warm and inviting with the fire. The basement and games were a hit with the teens. "Cozy little lake view cabin was a great setting for our family of 5. The owner really does think of the needs of vacationers and had it all covered. All the dishes, cooking utensils, glasses, etc. Even coffee to go with the coffee pot - thank you! We felt at home there and were grateful for all the instructions throughout the cabin (i.e. best settings for shower hot water, propane heater in living room, et al.). Definitely recommend a stay if you’re coming to Silver Lake, want to check out...
