"When checking in, we had planned to drop off our bags and head out, but when we saw the view from the deck, we ended up spending the late afternoon and evening sitting there. The hills rolled out before us, leading to the ocean, with mountains on one side and islands on the other. And it was so quiet, nothing but the wind in the trees, the twitter of birds, and an occasional roster call. The stove top and provided kitchen ware allowed us to whip up a simple dinner, and the ample refrigerator, which was stocked with drinks and treats, allowed us to store our food. The cabin was delightfully decorated and extremely comfortable. If you don’t mind the wonderful drive up into the hills, you will enjoy this gem."

"My partner, friends and I loved our stay at the batch. It has everything you need for an awesome kiwi summer. Lots of chairs, tables, gazebo, bbq, outdoor sink, games, HDMI for tv and all kitchen amenities. We had heaps of fun at the batch and going on daily excursions around the area. Greg was a kind and responsive host. Highly recommend this place for its affordability, amenities, set up and location! Would love to come back with family or friends one day. Thanks Greg!"

"Loved the fully fenced property which allowed us to take our dog away. Air conditioning in 2 of the bedrooms and living room was much appreciated too. Well equipped, secure, clean, dishwasher, plenty of space and top quality linen as a bonus too. The best part was the stunning beach the shortest walk away. Nothing beats that view of white sand and turquoise water and no people as you come up over the sand dune. "
