"The owner is amazing! She texted me the day of check in, has communicated with me spot on! We love this little cottage. Cozy, comfy, and made you feel like you are at home. It’s a great little place to come to after a long day. This little place has everything you could need and want. The only downside….its not mine hahahaha well will definitely keep this place in our saved places and want to stay here again when we’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed with this little cottage!! "

"It was a nice stay and very unique. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The photos make the place look a bit newer than it is which was fine but we were expecting the place to be much more updated than it was. It still was great and really cozy. Our dog liked the area to run around and the neighbors were very far so it was private and quiet. We liked the smores but there were no smores sticks so we had to go get those which the store is pretty close so no biggie....

We appreciated the extra touches like the labels on light switches and cabinets, the soft towels and bathroom rugs, throw blankets near the couches, and even USB charging ports on master bedroom nightstands. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The kids loved the hot tub, playing air hockey, and the board games. "Very cozy spot with all of the thoughtful little touches. Never wanted for a thing or were bothered by a thing. The location is close to any number of easy day trips, but remote enough to “hide” and just hike around the house."

"We had a great weekend! House was just what we needed and exceeded our expectations. We visited Mt Airy and Mt Pilot and even took a ride around in a replica Sheriffs car in “”Mayberry.” We took advice on eating at Little Richard’s BBQ and it was delicious. Hit a few of the other ma and pa restaurants and shops as well. The house and area was enough to keep our family of 6 well entertained and excited for our next trip to the mountains in the Fall. "
