"Rydges in Rotorua was a great choice for us. It was convenient, safe, and clean. Rydges Rotorua is close to Te Puia, and our room had a view of the geothermal valley. The staff was friendly. However, some staff members were not knowledgeable about the area or activities that Rotorua had to offer. They said to check the pamphlets against the wall and call the places directly. We were used to having a concierge at other places we stayed at (Hilton properties). We were still able to enjoy...

"We were really happy with our stay here. The cabin was really clean and tidy and the bed was comfy. The curtains were nice and thick, too, for the early sunrise. The price seemed quite a lot for a simple cabin with no ensuite or kitchen, but I guess that is just Rotorua in the summer. Otherwise we were very happy."
