"Great stay at Fiscus. Restaurant had fine dining and staff very helpful. The sunset view from the room was incredible. Parking is available at the lower lot, however, the hike to our room was strenuous for us 70 seniors. Would have enjoyed a dresser for our clothing as we stayed 4 days at Ficus, but we made due without. Great bird watching from the balcony. A hiking trail adjacent to the property was a real plus! Overall, would recommend this hotel most definitely! "

"Valle Escondido is a beautiful eco friendly hotel with delicious farm to table food. Property is beautiful with hiking trails to views of waterfalls. Great place for families and nature lovers alike. We took a night tour and saw amazing things with our lost knowledgeable guide! Had a great time! "

"Monteverdi Country Lodge was very nice stop on our first trip to Costa Rica. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and kind, and that alone made the stay 5 stars in my book. The room was clean and comfortable. My only small complaint were a slight lack of electrical sockets in our room. We made do, but given how dependent we all are on our devices, a few more would have been nice. Also, the location is set back from the main road, so the location would not really be considered walkable to anything but local restaurants. That being said we had a car for the daytime, and the lovely staff called us taxis in the evening, problem solved. The property itself is lovely for sitting outside for drinks or a meal, and again, the staff are top notch!"

"Driving up to the property on the mountain roads may not be everybody's cup of tea, but I absolutely loved it. Once there the staff was welcoming, property, unique, and beautiful, and the things to do in and around the property are very worthwhile."
