"I would definitely recommend this hotel. We visited Stonehenge and wanted to also see Winchester cathedral, which was a 10min walk away. Parking was plentiful, yet £7.20 a night. Cheaper than most hotel car parks these days. Great service from all the staff. Check in, spa, the bar and housekeeping. Room was clean, modern and the bed very comfortable. The spa was just what you needed to relax after a day sight seeing. Great amenities and would stay again."

"There is slightly jaded decor but the staff and service are excellent. A good night's sleep before a meeting around the corner. During the day, I work in various snugs around the hotel and restaurant."

"Was really happy with our stay and would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was perfect . Only gripe if anything we had a constant buzz/vibration sound in our room which I mentioned to reception. And the sealant around the bath could do with some attention. But overall really good."

"One night stay great location opposite Cathedral. It’s an old building so lots quirks and we loved it. Staff were helpful and excellent breakfast. "

"We had a very good stay. We had our rooms upgraded free, so we had very good,comfortable rooms. The only very minor observation would be that there are no comfy chairs or sitting area. The bar is good, but the seats are not designed to be comfortable,especially for older people. This is a very minor thing, We ate in the restaurant and it was very good. The staff were very kind to our 90 year old uncle too"
