The accommodation was clean and well presented, although a little tired in places, which was absolutely fine for our stay. The bed was a small double, which was a little soft for my liking, although other reviews say the beds were great, so very much a personal preference. Don't let that put you off as out time here was great. The food is lovely in the pub, and as I said at the beginning, the staff...

"My only worry was the noise from outside the room from the kitchen extractor fan, or something. However it was turned off from 21:45 to 07:00ish, if I remember correctly. So no complaints. "

"Really lovely staff and the check in experience was very pleasant. The room was just about acceptable in terms of cleanliness but the toilet was not clean and still had used paper in it. The room and the surroundings were very tired and beyond worn in some places, especially the carpet on the stairs which was very dirty. As there was no breakfast, we could not comment on it. It’s such a shame because the setting is quite pleasant and it could be a lovely place to visit. "
