"Lovely little gem off the beaten path of more touristy areas but good location to explore area of Glenfinnan, Ben Nevis and Glen Coe etc. We really enjoyed are stay in this beautiful little property which was so peaceful and quiet with lovely garden to explore, and that had lovely view from the top. Norries tip for drink on seat up top a very good idea :) Thank you so much Anna and Norrie for our stay, we were very sad it went to quick so hope to be back again soon. Justin and Gwen :)"

"Kilbowie Retreat is a very comfortable and spacious apartment beautifully decorated but with a homely feel. Its waterfront location is superb with wonderful views across to Kerrera Island. We loved the peace & tranquility. It is a short drive into Oban … too far to walk… where we discovered our favourite seafood restaurant Ee-Usk. The mussels are the best ever! We can thoroughly recommend Kilbowie Retreat as very exquisite holiday accommodation."

I had told her it was a super special occasion and not only was the place beautiful, with everything we could ask for but we had a surprise waiting for us in the kitchen! "We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short."
