"It was a typical Dormy Inn stay. I enjoy the hotel for its location and amenities. It is within walking distance to many of the cultural sites in the city as well as many good restaurants. The free ramen in the evening is a nice touch especially after a long soak in the outside onsen. The breakfast buffet is good and has a large selection of food. The beds are extremely hard but clean. I tend to bring my own blankets and pillows from home to make them more comfortable. I do find it frustrating...

"Getting there is about an hour drive from Aomori city and hotel has nothing surrounding it but green. Perfect for a getaway but not ideal if wanting to explore Aomori city. The building is old but definitely revamped on the inside, and the option for Japanese style room is available (which the staff make the futon for you). "Facility is dated, one of the elevator was inoperative. There are bugs in the room, according to the front desk staff it’s normal during this time of the year. Both breakfast and dinner are good inclusive to the price. "
