"All perfect, except when we checked in there was no rooms available for and another 5 couples. They found us all rooms at the sapphire hotel an hour from the secret resort. The following day the shuttle picked us up on time 10am and they gave a nice room and everything went well till we checked out. The hotel manager Ingrid was very attendant and helped with the smooth transition."

Crazy “rules” for beach chairs- included in your stay, but if you don’t reserve, you will likely be told there is no where for you to sit. Also seem to have favorites that are catered to. "At one time, Le Domaine must have been a very beautiful resort. It is in a great location, on a small bay (Anse Marcel) with a pretty beach that is shared with two other resorts. But the resort has obviously had some financial hard times it now appears partially shut down, and many of the local businesspeople thought that it had already gone out of business. "We have stayed in many resorts in the Caribbean and Aura by far has been the best. So good that my kids didn't even want to leave the place to do any excursions. They were good with their communications, scheduled events for us and were always there. Don't miss the opportunity to stay at Aura."

We enjoyed the location and few local amenities, we spent days exploring other beaches on the island also.If you want a quiet and peaceful stay in SXM I highly recommend Anse marcel and this property.
