"Three friends and myself just wanted to get away for a day and we chose this cabin. We wanted the sample some of the local cuisine and a day away from city life. I would recommend bringing some DVDs! The owner of the property is very close by and if you have any issues, they can be taken care of quickly. This would be a great place for kids, especially in the winter time! I would highly recommend this beautiful log cabin to anyone."

"We booked this for a long weekend with the family to watch the eclipse and celebrate my nephew's birthday. The property was just as described; secluded, spacious, and quite charming. We had 6 adults, a 7 year old, and an 80 lb Rottweiler, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Lots of space for outdoor activities and even though you're literally 10 mins from civilization and a store, you feel like you're out in the middle of nowhere. "The cabin worked for a home base for us, but it was not what was pictured...not even close!! outside was nothing like the picture, cabin looked older. Upon arrival, kitchen sink was dirty, stove had obviously had something hot spilled on knobs that were melted and grimy, stove had no propane, we had to switch the tank over (they did refill it), they provide the charchoal grill as listed, but no utensils.
