"This was a getaway for my birthday and my mother-in laws retirement. Easy to keep our own space and do things together at the same time. Very clean, beautiful property. Great set up for larger groups and loved the Bat house. House was fully stocked and everything was thought of. Very private setting that did not feel like you had any neighbours. Would highly recommend and plan to return."

"We had a wonderful time. The cabin was cozy and inviting on a January weekend get away. We are grateful that the hosts ensured we knew it would only be suitable in the winter if we had a 4c4. It is a very steep incline up to cabin and the trail was slippery, but doable in 4x4 low. It is directly across from the beach for a snowy beach walk. "I stayed at the lavender house with a group of my best girlfriends for a relaxing and healing winter bachelorette. This place is a dream stay! From the gorgeous curated space to the incredible views/property, I cant say enough great things! On our checkout day, all the girls agreed that we should have booked longer. We will avsolutely be coming back!"

"Cozy functional little cottage a minute walk down to the lake dock. There is a lakefront sauna you can also rent which we fully enjoyed. Janine and Gord were very communicative, friendly, and easygoing."

"The place is spacious and clean. However, we encountered some things that made it less than ideal. The hot tub was too hot (107) so we could not use it the first day. The dishwasher was not working, found out the water to it was turned off. Hot water was limited, if you wanted to take back to back showers, the second person had a cold one. We were there during hot weather and the cabin still stayed cool with the air conditioner in the loft bedroom running. The drive up is full of switch backs, so people with car sickness might not enjoy that. "We had a great stay, the cottage was exactly as described, clean, and the check in process was easy. "

"Stayed with my parents and brothers family. 5 adults and 3 children total. House is very welcoming and clean. Lake was nice, but beach is rocky, but we knew this from photos in the listing. Barbara was great and helped with any issues that came up during our stay and was quick to respond when we ran out of propane for the bbq. They have lots of card games to play as well. "We had a great stay! The nearest beach was walking distance but we ended up driving to shuswap provincial park a few days to use the beach there which was sandier for the kids. The unit had everything we needed and the owners were super friendly if we needed help with anything!"

The trailer was comfortable and had everything we needed to make ourselves at home, the lake was beautiful and they had a great set-up! It was the perfect time spent in the Shushwaps.
