"We thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor aspects of the property. The 800 year old tower was magnificent and truly unique. The terrace and the porch were great places to have breakfast and play games in the evening. The pool and the badminton court were a perfect way to end day after exploring wonderful nearby villages. "We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

It is in a part of France with much to offer in terms of activities like cycling, canoeing, eating and just admiring the beautiful villages. "This was a pleasant surprise and I don’t think the pictures or description did it justice. We stayed with my Parents-in-law and the Annex worked perfectly to give them space. Kids loved the pool and the hot tub was a nice addition. Daglan is a lovely village to be close too as well."

"Visiting the area my fiancé spent her childhood summers and the house is a 4min drive from the town center with beautiful views across the valley and wooded areas. Nice and peaceful but still local to the town and amenities. Pool and outdoor areas are perfect for lazy days and evenings and the house (old school) is quirky, rustic and lovely with all that you could need. Host was excellent with information required and directions to find the house. Thank you for letting us stay"

"We had a fantastic stay in this lovely, rustic property. Great for families with the pool and spacious grounds. Praysaac is also a very pretty, vibrant little town. There is also so much to do in the surrounding area. Cahors is only a 30 minute drive and there are plenty of villages, towns and chateau nearby. Everything you could wish for. We were sad to leave."

"The house is large with 4 big rooms and wonderful open plan kitchen diner. The view is spectacular and very relaxing. We were close to shops and sightseeing places like Sarlat, Rocamadour etc. As it was hot, it was lovely to have the pool to cool off. All in all a fantastic place. "

Authentic holiday home with private pool

Dated, inaccurate description, poor communication

"The property is dated and in need of some TLC, there are things within the property that do not work such as the TV, the channel box was broken when we arrived, in spite of reporting the fault it was never fixed, there are multiple extension cords around the property, not sure if it meets basic health and safety standards. Most frustrating part is the situation with linen, although linen is provided, however, beds are not made on arrival and the condition of the linen can be best described as shabby and old, we asked care taker can we at least have matching bed linen, however, we were told the previous family had 10 guests and they used all the linen. You can enjoy the pool after you have cleaned it of the bugs. Shower cubicle needs attention as the door is cracked and we were informed that the previous guests broke it!! Hmmm! Looked broken for a while to us. Now! Good bits - if you want piece and quite this is a perfect location with small villages around the corner, wildlife and insects are in abundance, there is resident mantis in the kitchen window, wild cat that lives within one of the old barn at the back and if you are quiet you might see a dear roaming around within the grounds. I suppose! The big question- will we book again the property and with Vrbo? Answer is an emphatic NO. Vrbo did not even acknowledge the concerns we raised as soon as we arrived, in fact we are still waiting for a response! Not impressed and over priced."
