"Cozy little lake view cabin was a great setting for our family of 5. The owner really does think of the needs of vacationers and had it all covered. All the dishes, cooking utensils, glasses, etc. Even coffee to go with the coffee pot - thank you! We felt at home there and were grateful for all the instructions throughout the cabin (i.e. best settings for shower hot water, propane heater in living room, et al.). Definitely recommend a stay if you’re coming to Silver Lake, want to check out Letchwood State Park (Grand Canyon of the East), or just passing thru!"

"Christa, the home owner, will provide you 5 star customer service. We had a couple of questions and she was immediately responding with answers. She has also made her house a beautiful, comfortable home. From the cozy couches, comfortable bed and the open floor plan, we felt right at home. In fact, your kids and pet will have plenty of room to run and play in the backyard. I highly recommend if you’re coming to NY, and need some R and R, STOP surfing the web and just book it. You won’t be disappointed. "

"Staff was great. Rooms were nice and clean. The only issue I have with the hotel is the people smoke right in front of the entrance and you have to walk through a cloud of smoke at certain times. "

"We’ve stayed at Cabin Creek multiple times and will be returning again in the future. The location provides a retreat from the hustle, and the family time we enjoy together is priceless. The host is very nice, and everything onsite is as advertised. I hesitate to even review this property for fear that after it is discovered, availability for my own future rentals may be limited! Still, I do hope that others may be able to find the peace and solitude that my family does at Cabin Creek."
