"A very pleasant good quality 3 bed air conditioned property which is well maintained in Wellness St Philip on the south east side of the island. It is situated in a residential area slightly away from the coast and is not the easiest place to find due to a lack of signage which is common in Barbados. The owner was extremely helpful and did his very best to assist with everything. The location requires a car (although buses into Bridgetown are nearby - and quite an experience to use with a fixed cost of $7.5B per trip (circa £3). The owner has a car to rent and driving is generally trouble free with the locals often very courteous. A supermarket is a short drive away which helps along with restaurants such as Cutters, Dis Ole House and Le Shack but eating out is not cheap in Barbados.The Four Square Rum distillery is also not far for a visit. The beaches are generally stunning and often very quiet. The North East coast is also dramatic and circa a 30-45 minute drive, but the roads are sometimes attrocious. Would we return?....yes, but we would probably explore another more central part of the island next time for a change of scene."

"Wow, Wow, Wow. This is our first time ever staying on the atlantic side of the island and it did not disappoint. The house was spectacular and the view was literally stunning just like all the other reviews had mentioned. The ocean breeze kept the airflow going and was wonderful. All rooms had air conditioning, washer and dryer and all the supplies needed if you happen to forget shampoo or Sunblock. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway this is the spot for you. Russell and Kevier were wonderful hosts. We even requested for a traditional bajan meal to be cooked for us on one of our nights and it was AMAZING. Anytime we needed anything Russell was there to help. Shari that lives on the same driveway, in the green and orange house makes her own pepper sauce called Marley Vale pepper sauce and hands down it is the best pepper sauce our group has ever tasted. What’s great is you can purchase bottles right at her house. I can’t say enough good things about our stay in Barbados other than it was blissful and wonderful. Thank you Barbados you never disappoint and thank you Russell for providing us our view for the week. Will be back!!!"

"Amazing food! New executive chef is doing a great job with the menu rotations. We enjoyed the table service but also the buffets. The mushroom soup was phenomenal! Drink options aregood, the smoothies are delicious. The local beer comes tap or in the bottle and it's a nice lager. Amazing beach for swimming, snorkeling and walks. Best snorkeling only steps in to the water there are two reefs with lots of fish, a sting ray and sea turtles nearby. Water is clear, no jellyfish when we went and safe. Hotel provides lots of nice watersport options all included. The hotel is in Holetown which is a nice town with plenty of culture, the first church built in 1600s and can get a tour, and a really nice shopping mall steps from the hotel. There are chattel shops also nearby for gifts, cigars, food, bubble tea, etc. There are a few supermarkets and nice restaurants close by as well. Sunday night the island parties on the streets at OneLove bar which is also steps away from hotel and goes to 2am and is worth going to see. There are 2 sister hotels on the island and we didn't get a chance to go see them but you can eat and drink there all day and enjoy the beach which one of them is near pebbles beach where the race horses bath in the early morning. Hotel is within 15 to 20 minutes of lots of activities Including Harrison Cave, horseback riding, wildlife reserve to be side by side with wild monkeys. We really enjoyed ourselves and wish we stayed longer than 6 nights, and we will be back!"
