"We arrived during the week at 10:30 pm. They were going to charge us four times more than a taxi to come pick us up so we grabbed a taxi instead. When we got there they told us the 5 of us could not stay in the room we reserved because they were doing renovations to the third floor where the room was. They put my husband and I with our 3 small children in two separate rooms. We have lived in Peru for more than a year so our standards are not as high as North American's standards are. That...

"while we enjoyed our stay, it was a shared house and we found out we wanted the entire house to ourselves; however it was spacious, steps away to almost everything (dry cleaners, market, restaurants, bakery and a park). Highly recommended for anyone who wants to be somewhat removed from the high priced hotels and apartments closer to the coast and just wants a more authentic peruvian stay."

"The hostel was closed and didn't inform Expedia! Left me their in the middle of the night in a questionable neighborhood where I had to wake up neighbors to help. Contacted owner by phone, in broken English, and he didn't even want to come to the door. In all fairness, Expedia may share some of the blame."
