"The house is exceptionally well presented, top quality finish and very comfortable. Everything needed is provided and the grade 2 listed building has been very well refurbished although the stairs can be a little tricky if you've got any mobility deficiencies or you are of advanced years."

"Beautiful house, so many lovely touches from the hosts. Basket of goodies, fresh milk and butter were left for us. 2 bottles of processco for my mum. Let us check in early and leave late. Thanks so much for a lovely stay! "

"Overall the property was clean,moden and had everything needed for our stay.However,the pull out bed was not v user friendly and uncomfortable which was disappointing!I think the lodge was catered more for 6 people particularly the sofa area,not enough seats.There was also a issue with the back door as in it was stiff to open.We enjoyed our stay and loved relaxing in the hot tub,many thanks"

"Was surprised how very near the main road it was and the parking spot was rather awkward. The ad makes it look rather village-y where in fact it is really urban. That said, it is a lovely house, well kept and we enjoyed our stay. Very near everything you need."

"The property is lovely. We had a look around when we got there and its spacious with plenty of storage. There was tea and sugar in the cupboards as well as a comprehensive welcome pack including a map and the menus of nearby takeaways. The beds are comfy, the sofa is comfy, the shower was good, theres also a downstairs bathroom whcih was great as we were 3 people. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a fabulous stay, the property was beautiful, very clean, and lovely decor. ideally situated for site seeing and found a lovely Italian cafe over the road, the owner was so nice. The only negative was there was not enough pots (serving dishes) for nibbles etc. everything else was perfect. Would definitely visit again. "

"We spent 2 nights at this lovely property close to the cathedral. We particularly chose it as we were going to a concert at the cathedral & wanted somewhere near-by. We were certainly not disappointed. The property was clean and very well equipped with lovely touches throughout . Information from the owner was just right & we really enjoyed our stay. "Hare lodge has everything and more. Karen has provided everything you could possibly need. The lodge was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We were amused by the number of hares around! Beds were extremely comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. We thought Hare lodge was very good value for money. The only thing we didn’t like much was the layout. Having to go out into the conservatory to get to the en suite bedroom wasn’t great, and in winter would be chilly, but we enjoyed our stay...
