"The cabin at Blaen Cedi was exactly what we needed after a busy family wedding in Essex. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, Ad and Lynsey helped us with whatever we needed, and the location was walkable to town and to many beautiful fields. Our two young children relished being able to run freely on the large grassy area and go for walks with us in the area without needing to get in a car. "Lovely cabin in, what felt like the middle of nowhere, But right off the main road. Couldn’t hear the main road at all, only the bird and nature. Lovely cabin, lovely and warm, clean and tidy. We got there well after dark and I was trying to get up the last directions to the cabin when you get to the farm and luckily Hugh came out to show us the last leg. "Cosy, warm, pretty and perfectly functional Shepherds Hut in a quiet location with wonderful views and gorgeous farm animals. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away from the world and enjoy the many walks available in the nearby area."

"For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, and superbly functional, everything you need is here. In an area which is very close to the Beacons National Park, close enough for access and far enough away from the "beaten tourist path" to offer solitude and peace and quiet. "Lovely cottage but on a noisy road. Beautiful garden. Everything we needed including food essentials on arrival. Bonus to be able to park off road at the end of the garden. What puts us off staying again however was the bedding. Did not smell clean and fresh, pillows old, flat and stained, duvets the same. No smell of fresh laundry. We bought some pillows at Tesco on the first day as we didn't want to use those supplied."
