"I went with my mother during the centenary celebration of the apparitions at Fatima and wanted to have a real feeling of the town, and not stay at a hotel. Albergue Pereira was a great choice. It is a family-owned guesthouse for many years, and staying there was like going back in time. "I had the whole property to myself as I stayed on a weekday night! It was kinda scary as I was the only guest and it’s a big room and property. It’s very clean and comfortable. However, the lights went off shortly after I went into the shower room. As I’m not tall, the sensor can’t detect my moving arms so I ended up showering in the dark. I would recommend staying here when it’s slightly busy. "

"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"This property is huge and is in an excellent location for exploring this region of Portugal. The views from this villa are just breathtaking and you would never get tired of them. A car is a must as it is located at the edge of a quiet hilltop village but there is lots to see and do within short driving distance in any direction.
