"The home is very quaint and well appointed. There were many things that we could avail ourselves with. A kayak, a bike, beach chairs, greens in the garden, BBQ grill, a very nice pair of binoculars, a boogie board etc. Lots of interesting wall decorations of drawings and paintings. Close to the very nice towns of Montauk and Sag Harbor. The beach is nearby. For the ocean side we really enjoyed Hither Hills State Park."

"Danny was a superb host! The cottage is exactly as it looks, it actually feels more spacious in real life. It comfortably sleeps four with the pull-out couch, has a full kitchen, and a great little backyard. The backyard is definitely a highlight- since you're right on the lake/pond- a beautiful spot to drink your morning coffee, and bbq in the evening. It also comes equipped with plenty of outside furniture, a fire pit, and a bbq. If you want to stay in Montauk, you truly can not beat this...

"This cottage was charming and perfect for the three of us. The neighbors were wonderful too. Very updated and comfortable. The only thing I would recommend keeping in mind is it’s a very small and narrow driveway. A compact car would work better than the small SUV I was driving. Other than that, it was close to perfection all the way around. Thank you again. "

The house looks fine online but .., downstairs smells like mold especially the queen bedroom sooooo musty and rug feels so dirty - it looks lovely in photos but so gross like torture sleeping in there Air condition units are in window and are ancient so noisy we constantly got woken up - queen bedroom difficult to set “ change filter light is on” in the living room The house is dreary and dark Unfinished construction in a lot of places Upstairs...
