"A really nice property in a great location for exploring the area. Within easy reach of Lisbon and other areas for day trips; it's about 20 minutes from Seixal ferry. Fantastic welcome from Sandra, the host. It felt like we stayed with a friend. She was so helpful when my spouse had a dental emergency - Sandra sorted us put an appointment straight away - even on a Saturday! She really goes out of her way to make your stay special without imposing on you at all. The pool area is very pretty and...

"We stayed for 3 nights, the property itself is cozy, with a good use of space, however, access to the bedding area may be limited to able-bodied folks. We were given plenty privacy with access to the barbeque and private garden area. If we're ever in the area again, we'd absolutely stay here again."

"We had a great 5-week stay at Casa da Rocha. The 3BR setup worked well with 2 pre-teen kids and a dog. I particularly enjoyed this part of Sintra which is authentically Portuguese and a bit off the beaten path. We spent a lot of time chatting with locals at the small store/cafe down the road and ate at several great spots that Cristina recommended, all a short drive away. While not too far by car from the train station and more touristy parts of Sintra, the home isn't close enough to those...
