"Loved the location , minutes from the beach and the views from the room. We could hear the waves at night ! Staff were wonderful - so friendly and helpful. Pool is fab and a real bonus . "Our 2 night stay at the Penina was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. Every member of the team were so friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, the grounds and facilities at the pool were wonderful. The food in the Henry Cotton restaurant was excellent. We played tennis and the golf course was amazing and excellent value. We would definitely recommend and we are already planning to return to the Penina next year. "Family holiday for 5 days. Villa was an apartment in a 2-storey block, ocean views, <100m from the ocean even less to the beach). Quiet without being silent, other kids around too for ours to see and play with, other families and couples enjoying their time. Great base for exploring Alvor. Some parts of the complex a little bit more tired than others, but we felt that lent more character!"
