"Had a lovely stay here (def helped by the free upgrade to a junior suite!). Really great location: right next to the river and the Heumarkt (so ideal for getting to Christmas market locations). We liked that we could decline to have room cleaning (and got given a free snack for doing so) - when you are only there two nights, we really don't need anyone coming in to make up our room."

"Outstanding service and attention to detail. The staff were very accommodating and easy to talk to. The only black mark was a washroom that was cooler than the rest of the room. It made the first few minutes out of the shower uncomfortable. As a sort of consolation, the bathroom featured a heated towel rack. The shower was also slow to drain, leading to some initial concerns regarding flooding the suite. The breakfast selection was above average with staff making decorative coffee creations. The hotel is centrally located, with some attractions easily accessible by foot. It is located on a quiet street and away from night life."

"Really happy! My fiance and I just needed a 1 night stay to see Cologne while we are travelling Europe. Checking in was super quick and easy with the code to enter the hotel and the self check in on iPads to organise our room key. Can tell that a lot of thought has been put into digital self check in. The hotel and its operations have been really well designed. Did not use served brekky in the lobby in the morning (from 8am - 10am) however a vending machine is available at night for drinks including beer! Very affordable for 1 night. Bed very comfortable! Not fussed about 2 single quilts for the double bed. Towel warmer was lovely. Was very quiet, could only hear the odd ambulance sirens. Only negatives for me was the shower was not very hot, and very very simple toiletries. For the price for 1 night I was expecting more than just 2 in 1 body wash and shampoo. However I believe this is just because they are doing their best to be eco friendly Location isn’t amazing as it is on a main road with not much more around, however a 20-30 minute walk gets you to the train station and more shops."

"I was nervous about booking this hotel based on the reviews but it far surpassed our expectations. All staff were very helpful, 24 hour reception, extensive free breakfast, lift, clean bedding and room, a safe and hair dryer in the room, very close to transport restaurants and supermarkets. Only minor downside is no kettle in the room. I would recommend this hotel to any and would definitely stay here again if I was in the city."
