The staff is SO welcoming, kind, friendly, accommodating, etc. We have stayed in quite a few hotels but we can both say this is a top experience for us. "This was the perfect place to stay during Christmas. They have a historic movie theater attached which we attended, also an excellent Italian restaurant where we ate 3 times, room was updated and with a beautiful bathroom. Easy taxi ride of about 13 euro, to the hotel and back. Very good breakfast, and being in old town adds to the experience. Very friendly staff as well."

"The hotel is one of the oldest historical buildings in Salzburg and it is in great shape. The room was large and it had a great view, with a nice bed. The chairs in the room needed to be replaced 10 years ago and the floor was scratched up, but in all it was very good. The Location is the best in Salzburg! The staff was nice and very helpful. The building was the house of a Barron, then a Sinaguage, and later a brewer for 500 years - it is historical to say the least. "
